Our client, a leading multi-format retailer, wanted to review the way promotions are planned. The hypothesis was that there was an opportunity to increase the ROI of promotions dramatically by a more professional management of promotions.
Mission.
We were asked to develop a tailor-made approach to achieve a more strategic promotion management. Our mission included the development of the concept, processes, supporting analysis tools, the implementation and training of this new approach.
Results.
Number of promotions decreased by 35%, profit increased by more than 10% combined with sustained turnover growth.
